General Nursing & Midwifery
The GNM full form is General Nursing and Midwifery. General nursing is a branch of nursing that deals with the care of patients in all settings. Midwifery is a branch of nursing that deals with the care of women during pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. General nurses and midwives work together to provide comprehensive care to patients.
GNM, or "General Nursing and Midwifery," is a professional nursing program that provides education in nursing and obstetric care. The course is usually three years long and includes both theory and practical.

nursing, such as working in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, or pursuing higher studies.
This course is designed to train nurses professionally so that they can make significant contributions in the field of health care.
Eligibility for G.N.M.
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in Vocational Stream Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre.
Student shall be admitted once in a year.
CML rank required for admission.
Students shall be medically fit. (In case of physically handicap Govt. recognized certificate required T & C. applied)
Duration
The G. N. M. course is of 3 academic year.
